Absher Saudi Arabia 2025: Complete Guide for Expats (Every Service Explained)
What is Absher?
Absher (أبشر) is Saudi Arabia's official e-government portal operated by the Ministry of Interior. For expats, it is arguably the most important digital platform in the Kingdom — you will use it for Iqama renewal, exit/re-entry visas, dependent permissions, traffic violations, and much more.
Think of Absher as Saudi Arabia's "one-stop government shop." Not having it set up is one of the most common mistakes new expats make.
How to Register on Absher as an Expat
- Go to absher.sa or download the Absher Afrad app.
- Click "Register" Select "Resident" (مقيم).
- Enter your Iqama number, date of birth (Hijri or Gregorian), and the phone number registered on your Iqama.
- You will receive an OTP SMS on your registered number.
- Set a username and password.
- Registration is complete — you can now access all expat services.
