Description
Position: Site Foreman – Electrical / Mechnical / Infrastructure Works ( Pipe for cabling , termination , laying cables , lighting , panels , equipment for excavation )
Department: Project Execution
Reports To: Construction Manager / Site Engineer
Work Location: Project Sites – Saudi Arabia
2. Main Roles & Responsibilities
1. Daily Work Execution: Organize and supervise daily construction activities according to approved drawings, method statements, and site engineer instructions.
2. Manpower Management: Distribute workers into teams, assign daily tasks, monitor attendance, and ensure efficient utilization of manpower.
3. Daily Productivity: Achieve daily production targets and report actual completed quantities against planned targets.
4. Tools & Equipment: Ensure required tools, equipment, and construction materials are available before starting work.
5. Quality Control: Check workmanship and ensure activities comply with approved specifications and quality requirements.
6. Safety Compliance: Conduct daily toolbox talks, enforce PPE requirements, and ensure work permits and safety precautions are followed.
7. Site Coordination: Coordinate with the Site Engineer, other foremen, subcontractors, and safety personnel to avoid work interruptions.
8. Daily Reporting: Submit daily reports covering manpower, equipment, completed quantities, work progress, and site difficulties.
9. Material Control: Monitor material usage, prevent waste, and report shortages in advance.
10. Site Issues & Delays: Immediately report access restrictions, missing drawings, material shortages, idle manpower, and other obstacles affecting productivity.
11. Work Inspection: Ensure completed work is ready for inspection and support the Site Engineer in closing inspection comments.
12. Housekeeping: Maintain site cleanliness, proper material storage, and safe working conditions.
3. Additional Technical Experience by Foreman Type
Foreman Type Required Technical Experience
Electrical Foreman MV/LV cable laying, cable pulling, cable trays, terminations, equipment installation
Civil Foreman Excavation, backfilling, duct banks, concrete works, road reinstatement
Infrastructure Foreman Underground utilities, trenching, HDPE/UPVC piping, manholes and coordination of underground services
Mechanical Foreman Piping installation, supports, mechanical equipment, testing preparation
