Urgent Hiring for Bahrain
Project Engineer – Fuel Management System
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities for Fuel Management System projects.
• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Conduct site visits and discussions with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals and participate in price negotiations.
• Follow up on quotations and opportunities to secure project orders.
• Maintain awareness of market conditions, competitors, products, and pricing.
2. Estimation & Proposal Preparation
• Review client requirements, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and site conditions.
• Identify the complete scope of materials, equipment, manpower, and services required for project execution.
• Prepare accurate project cost estimations and quotations.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations and maintain knowledge of current market prices.
• Check the availability and procurement lead time of equipment and materials before finalizing project commitments.
• Ensure that quotations adequately account for material costs, installation requirements, project duration, and other execution-related costs.
3. Project Planning & Coordination
• Prepare the project execution plan once the order is secured.
• Determine material requirements, procurement schedules, manpower requirements, installation activities, and project timelines.
• Coordinate with the Logistics/Procurement & Finance team for timely ordering, delivery of materials and invoicing.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders throughout project execution.
4. Installation & Project Execution
• Supervise and coordinate technicians during installation and commissioning activities.
• Ensure installation is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians and resolve site-related technical issues.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and completion against the agreed schedule.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and final project handover.
• Maintain overall technical and operational oversight of the project from commencement through completion.
Technical Scope / Equipment Knowledge
The Project Engineer should have practical technical knowledge and experience in fuel station and fuel management infrastructure, including:
• Fuel dispensers, preferably Wayne Fuel Dispensers
• Underground fuel storage tanks & double-wall fuel piping systems
• NUPI / NUPI Smartflex or equivalent underground piping systems
• Franklin Fueling Systems / UPP piping and associated equipment
• Submersible Turbine Pumps (STP)
• Red Jacket submersible pump systems or equivalent
• Automatic Tank Gauging and monitoring systems, including TLS-450+
• Fuel Management Systems
• Tank and pipeline leak detection systems
• SGB pipe and tank leak detectors
• Associated valves, fittings, containment systems, sensors, controls, and accessories required for complete fuel station installations
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical / Functional
• Fuel Management System and fuel station equipment knowledge

Qualification & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Relevant experience in fuel station projects, fuel dispensing systems, Fuel Management Systems, petroleum equipment, or related electromechanical projects.
• Hands-on experience in estimation, sales, project planning, installation, and commissioning is strongly preferred.
• Experience dealing with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and technical teams.
• GCC/Bahrain experience and knowledge of the local supplier and contractor market would be an advantage.
Salary: BD 600-1000 (depends on experience & knowledge)
