Start with the most common visa tasks

Work Visa

Entry visa for employment in Saudi Arabia

A Saudi work visa is issued to a foreign employee once a Saudi employer secures a work permit (through Qiwa) and visa allocation from the Ministry of Human Resources. After arrival, the worker undergoes a medical check and biometrics, and the work visa is converted into an Iqama (residence permit) linked to the employer.

Family Visit & Permanent Family Visa

Bringing family members to visit or reside

💡 Visit visa validity and remaining days can usually be checked directly from the sponsor's Absher dashboard.

Exit Re-Entry & Final Exit

Travelling out of and leaving Saudi Arabia

Tourist, GCC & International Visas

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I check my Saudi visa status?

Use the official visa status portal (MOFA) with your visa number and passport details, or check exit re-entry / final exit status through Absher if you already hold an Iqama.

Can exit re-entry be extended from outside Saudi Arabia?

In some cases, yes — it depends on the sponsor, visa type and current Jawazat rules. Check your sponsor's Absher account or contact them directly.

What's the difference between exit re-entry and final exit?

Exit re-entry lets you leave and come back while your Iqama stays valid. Final exit ends your residency permanently — you cannot return on the same Iqama afterwards.

Can GCC residents apply for a Saudi eVisa?

Many GCC residents can apply online, but eligibility depends on residency status, nationality and current Saudi eVisa rules — check the official portal before applying.

How do I apply for a family visit visa?

The sponsor (Iqama holder) applies through their Absher account, entering the relative's passport and travel details, then pays the applicable fee.
