🔧 ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to lead workshop production of structural steel and Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) at our facility in Saudi Arabia.
This role is for a hands-on production leader who can read shop drawings, organise the fabrication team, control workflow, maintain workmanship standards, and ensure fabricated steel is ready for dispatch according to project schedules.

⚙️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Read shop drawings and cutting lists and prepare daily production plans.
• Assign tasks to cutters, fitters, and welders according to their skills and workload.
• Supervise cutting operations (Plasma, CNC, or Gas), fit-up, and welding of columns, beams, trusses, purlins, and structural connections.
• Check alignment, squareness, dimensions, and joint gaps before tack welding and final welding.
• Ensure welders follow approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), including the correct welding process and electrodes.
• Coordinate with the QC team regarding inspection hold points, rejected items, and rework.
• Monitor steel stock and cutting layouts to minimise material wastage.
• Coordinate with site erection teams to ensure fabricated steel is dispatched on schedule.
• Enforce workshop safety requirements, including PPE, welding and cutting precautions, fire watch, and safe crane and lifting operations.
• Report daily production output, delays, and operational issues to the Project Manager.
👷 WHO SHOULD APPLY?
✅ Proven experience supervising structural steel fabrication in a workshop.
✅ Practical knowledge of fit-up, welding processes, and weld quality.
✅ Ability to read shop drawings and cutting lists independently.
✅ Experience supervising fitters, welders, and cutting teams.
✅ Ability to explain the tonnage handled, team size supervised, and types of projects completed.
✅ Experience with a PEB manufacturer or structural steel fabrication company is a strong advantage.
✅ Candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia.
