We are looking for an experienced Odoo Business Systems Specialist to work on-site at our Dammam office and take day-to-day ownership of our Odoo ERP environment.
The selected candidate will work directly with management, sales, procurement, inventory, finance, operations, and technical teams to improve how Odoo is used across the company.
This is not a data-entry or basic IT support position. The role requires strong knowledge of business operations, Odoo functional configuration, user support, data governance, testing, documentation, and continuous process improvement.
Role Objective
The main objective of this position is to ensure that Odoo accurately reflects the company’s real operations and is used consistently by all departments.
The candidate will serve as the internal link between:
* Business users
* Company management
* Odoo developers
* External consultants
* LeenAI technical and automation teams
Key Responsibilities
* Take day-to-day ownership of the company’s Odoo system.
* Understand current business processes and identify gaps between actual operations and Odoo workflows.
* Support and improve Odoo modules, including:
* CRM
* Sales
* Purchase
* Inventory
* Accounting and invoicing
* Employees and HR
* Approvals
* Manufacturing or assembly operations
* Meet with department users to understand issues and business requirements.
* Convert user requests into clear functional requirements.
* Identify whether an issue is caused by:
* Incorrect system configuration
* Poor process design
* Data-quality problems
* User errors
* Missing training
* Required development
* Maintain and prioritize the Odoo issue and improvement backlog.
* Test all system changes before production deployment.
* Coordinate with remote Odoo developers and external consultants.
* Ensure that developers understand the business requirement before starting development.
* Review completed development and confirm that it solves the actual business problem.
* Create functional test cases and user-acceptance testing scenarios.
* Maintain product, customer, supplier, pricing, inventory, and accounting master data.
* Identify duplicate, incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent records.
* Support product and customer data cleanup.
* Monitor quotations, sales orders, deliveries, purchase orders, inventory transfers, invoices, and open transactions.
* Identify delayed, incomplete, duplicated, or incorrectly processed transactions.
* Manage user accounts, permissions, sales teams, branches, warehouses, and approval access.
* Train employees on the correct use of Odoo.
* Prepare simple user guides and standard operating procedures.
* Document workflows, configurations, system changes, and known issues.
* Prepare weekly reports covering:
* Open issues
* Completed fixes
* Delayed actions
* Data-quality issues
* User-adoption problems
* System risks
* Required management decisions
* Support the integration of Odoo with external systems, dashboards, quotation systems, email systems, and AI agents.
* Participate in future Odoo implementation and automation projects for Alrouf Lighting and LeenAI clients.
Required Experience
* At least 3 years of practical Odoo experience.
* Strong functional knowledge of Odoo.
* Experience with Odoo CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Accounting workflows.
* Good understanding of end-to-end business processes, including:
* Lead to quotation
* Quotation to sales order
* Sales order to delivery
* Delivery to invoice
* Purchase request to purchase order
* Purchase order to receipt
* Supplier invoice and payment
* Inventory transfers and adjustments
* Experience supporting business users and resolving Odoo issues.
* Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
* Experience conducting user-acceptance testing.
* Experience managing Odoo master data.
* Good understanding of access rights, users, teams, branches, and warehouses.
* Ability to communicate effectively with both business users and technical developers.
