Description

Danway Saudi Arabia Contracting Company is seeking a passionate and committed Contracts Engineer to join our team.

Contracts Engineer will oversee key pre-contract and post contract functions across multiple EPC projects, ensuring effective contractual management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review client contract documents (conditions, ITT, schedules, BG formats, etc.) to identify risks, recommend modifications, and support tendering activities. Maintain updated records of Contract Condition (COC) reviews.
• Address client comments and negotiate mutually acceptable terms while protecting the employer’s contractual interests.
• Prepare, review, and manage all contractual correspondence, ensuring compliance with FIDIC, bespoke KSA contract conditions, and relevant KSA legal codes.

• Coordinate with site teams to ensure timely notices and proper submission of variation and EOT claims. Draft claim letters, EOT submissions, and related contractual communications.
• Work closely with Project Managers, HODs, Planning, and Senior Engineers to prepare cost and time claims. Review variation and EOT submissions for accuracy and contractual alignment, providing clear recommendations.
• Provide comprehensive contractual support, maintaining detailed registers for risks, variations, claims, correspondence, and EOTs. Prepare monthly reports on EOT status, potential risks, and claims in progress.
• Manage supplier and subcontractor claims, including EOT, delay damages, prolongation, variations, revised rates, and loss and expense claims.

• Participate in weekly project review meetings and coordinate with the planning team bi weekly to identify delay events and assess time cost impacts.
• Liaise with legal counsel on arbitration and legal matters, ensuring timely provision of required documentation for hearings and submissions.

Seeking a professional with 8–10 years of experience in contract management and a strong collaborative approach. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in engineering, law, or quantity surveying, with solid expertise in dispute resolution and familiarity with KSA legal codes.
