VACANCY – CHIEF ACCOUNTANT
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of practical accounting experience, including supervisory or Chief Accountant experience.
Experience in the transportation and contracting sectors is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP accounting systems.
Good knowledge of accounting standards, ZATCA, tax and zakat requirements, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily accounting operations and review journal entries for accuracy.
Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank accounts, assets, expenses, and revenues.
Prepare and review bank and account reconciliations.
Supervise monthly and annual closing processes and prepare the trial balance.
Prepare and review financial statements and financial reports for submission to Finance Management.
Monitor project and transportation costs and revenues and analyze variances.
Monitor receivables and payables, aging reports, collections, and payments.
Ensure proper supporting documentation and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and prepare the required audit documentation.
Supervise the accounting team, assign tasks, and review the quality and accuracy of their work.
