Description
GENERATOR OPERATOR
A Generator Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining diesel, gas, or alternative energy generators, performing routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues, and ensuring safe, reliable power supply for facilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate, monitor, and maintain standby and prime power generators (diesel, natural gas, propane)
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance: oil changes, filter replacements, coolant checks.
• Inspect and diagnose generator sets, ATS (automatic transfer switches), and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults; perform repairs or coordinate service.
