Senior Estimator – Civil & Structural
Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia
Preferred Background: Saudi Aramco project experience
Job Summary
Responsible for preparing detailed civil and structural cost estimates and tender proposals for oil and gas and industrial projects, ensuring accurate quantities, competitive pricing, and complete scope coverage.
Key Responsibilities
Review tender documents, civil and structural drawings, specifications, geotechnical information, and scope of work.
Prepare quantity take-offs for earthworks, concrete, reinforcement, formwork, foundations, underground works, buildings, and structural steel.

Estimate material, manpower, equipment, transportation, subcontract, and associated construction costs.
Develop unit-rate analyses based on construction methods, productivity, site conditions, and project requirements.
Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for technical suitability and commercial competitiveness.
Identify scope gaps, exclusions, assumptions, tender clarifications, and potential cost risks.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commercial teams to finalize estimates and bid submissions.
Maintain cost databases and support estimate handover to project execution teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Extensive experience in civil and structural estimation for oil and gas, industrial, or EPC projects, including senior-level responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, structural steel works, material pricing, and construction productivity.
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications and prepare detailed bills of quantities and cost breakdowns.
Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant quantity take-off and estimating software.
Saudi Aramco project experience and familiarity with applicable client specifications are preferred.
