SENIOR ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
(POWER SERVICE TECHNICIAN)
SCOPE OF WORK
Maintenance, testing, overhauling and modification of HV & MV electrical equipment including 380 KV GIS substations, GCBs, MV switchgear, power cables, power transformers, dry transformers, instrument transformers, DC systems, batteries etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out routine preventive maintenance as per schedule and JIGPC procedures.
Use testing equipment (CBC100, Battery tester Torkel 930, HV tester, Megger, DLR, CB analyzer, BDV oil tester, etc.).
Troubleshoot, diagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimize downtime.
Maintain and service HV/MV switchgear, transformers, cables, GIS, batteries, DC systems, etc.
Read and interpret technical manuals, drawings and schematics.
Prepare and submit test reports, checklists and maintenance documentation.

REQUIREMENTS
Technical Certificate / Assorciate's Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 8 Years of experience in maintenance and testing of HV & MV electrical equipment in a plant environment.
Good knowledge of electrical power circuits, standards and safety.
Good command of English (written & oral).
Familiar with SAP system.
