Greetings,
Over 19 years managing Electrical Engineer megaprojects in Saudi Arabia taught me one brutal truth:
A SAR 500M+ project rarely fails on design. It fails in the gaps between technical review and site execution.
Early in my career working on airport infrastructure (Riyadh & Dammam) and Saudi Aramco facilities, I noticed the same 3 bottlenecks repeated across 11kV/33kV substation builds:
1. IFC Drawing & SLD discrepancies slipping past submittal reviews.
2. EVA metrics looking healthy until change orders suddenly obliterate cash flow.
3. Spec enforcement breaking down during rapid procurement.
Catching a single design variance before pouring concrete saves millions and weeks of schedule delay.
I’m currently exploring my next Senior Electrical Engineering / Project Control role in KSA (Transferable Iqama).
