Job Vacancy: Senior Accountant – FMCG Industry
Location: Saudi Arabia
Industry: FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in FMCG accounting, financial reporting, inventory management, and compliance with Saudi regulations. The candidate should be capable of managing daily accounting operations while supporting management with accurate financial information and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
Oversee customer receivables and supplier payables.
Ensure compliance with Saudi ZATCA requirements, VAT regulations, and company policies.
Prepare VAT returns and support external audits.
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
Assist in budgeting, cost control, and internal financial controls.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable accounting standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (SOCPA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the FMCG industry.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and Saudi financial regulations.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills in English. Arabic is an advantage.
Preferred Skills

Strong leadership and team management skills.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
