Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role
An established global engineering firm specializing in EPCC and Industrial Engineering services is seeking a Senior Accountant. Operating as a one-person department, you will manage everything including, but not limited to, recording day-to-day transactions, monthly reconciliations & closing, VAT submissions, annual closing and laisan with auditors.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Accounting: Manage all independent data entry, general ledger maintenance, AR/AP, and payroll (WPS).
Tax & Zakat Support: Clean, organize, and prepare financial data schedules to assist external consultants with ZATCA VAT, Zakat, and Corporate Tax filings.
Project Controls: Generate weekly AP/AR Aging Reports and Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports to monitor unbilled revenue and cash flow.
Audit & Compliance: Prepare audit working papers, lead schedules, and reconcile project budgets and subcontractor progress billings.
Document Control: Maintain an flawless, highly structured online (ERP) and offline (physical file) data archiving system.
Cash Management: Oversee project-site petty cash operations and conduct strict monthly bank reconciliations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional certifications (MBA, CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalents) are highly preferred.
Experience: 5+ years of total accounting experience, with at least 3-4 years of local KSA experience prefrably in Contracting, EPCC, or Construction.
Software Expertise: Hand on expereince in Odoo ERP is PLUS.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with SOCPA/IFRS standards, ZATCA guidelines, and Saudi Labor Law.
Work Style: Proven track record of operating independently as a solo accountant with high attention to detail.
