QC Team Leader (Laboratory Supervisor)

Position: QC Team Leader (Laboratory Supervisor)
Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Job description:
Supervises the quality control (QC) laboratory day to day as a hands-on team leader, and delivers reliable, on-time test results showing that each batch meets its specification. Supervises the QC microbiologists, analytical chemists and laboratory technicians day to day. Validate methods, qualify instruments and lead out-of-specification investigations.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biotechnology or a related field preferred; a master's degree is an advantage.

Experience:
Minimum 8 years in a feed, food, pharmaceutical or fermentation QC laboratory, including 3 years supervising a team. Hands-on experience in both microbiology and chemistry testing. Experience in setting up a new laboratory, or with fermentation or microbial products, is an advantage.
