Position: QA Team Leader (Deputy Quality Manager)
Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia
Job description:
Supervises day-to-day Quality Assurance (QA) activities and acts as the Quality Manager's deputy. Ensures that activities affecting product quality and feed safety follow approved procedures, and supports regulatory compliance, certification readiness and audits. The role is based in the Khobar office initially, moving to the Jubail site when construction work starts. Support the Quality Manager in setting QA objectives and KPIs. Maintain and continually improve the quality and feed safety management system. Lead QA input to the eQMS and other quality systems. Prepare the QA system for new markets and site expansion.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, chemistry, biotechnology or related science; a master's degree is an advantage.
Experience required:
Minimum 8 years in QA in feed, food, feed additive or pharmaceutical manufacturing, including 3 years supervising a team. Experience hosting regulatory inspections or certification audits. A lead auditor certificate (ISO 9001, ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 or GMP+ FSA) and a HACCP certificate are required; a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is an advantage
