Job Vacancy: Purchasing Representative
Work Location: Al-Khobar / Dammam, Saudi Arabia
Monthly Salary: SAR 4,000-5,000, depending on qualifications and experience
Job Responsibilities:
Source suitable suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
Compare prices, quality, payment terms and delivery schedules.
Prepare quotation comparison sheets, purchase orders and related purchasing documents.
Negotiate prices and commercial terms with suppliers.
Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain and update supplier information and purchasing records.
Coordinate with relevant departments regarding purchasing requirements.
Monitor the local market and identify suitable products and suppliers.
Assist in resolving delivery, quality and payment-related issues.
Requirements:
Age : must be 28 till 38 years
Bachelor’s degree or above.
Two to five years of relevant purchasing experience.
Good knowledge of the local supplier market in Dammam, Al-Khobar, Jubail or Al-Ahsa.
Proficiency in both English and Arabic.
Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to prepare quotations, price comparison sheets and purchasing reports.
Good communication, negotiation and supplier-management skills.
A valid Saudi driving licence is preferred.
Candidates currently residing in Al-Khobar or Dammam will be given preference.
Applicants must hold a valid and transferable Iqama in Saudi Arabia.
