Protection Specialist (Electrical)
Requirements:
Minimum 8+ years of experience in maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of EHV/HV/MV Protection Systems.
Experience with 380kV GIS Substations, Transformers, MV Switchgear, Power Cables, GCBs, Generators, and Feeders.
Hands-on experience with SEL, GE, Siemens, MiCOM, and Beckwith protection relays.
Knowledge of IEC 61850, SAS, LCC/BCU configuration, and relay testing.
Experience using CMC356, Freja300, Sverker 760, CT Analyzer, and similar testing equipment.
Familiarity with SAP is an advantage.
Technical Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Good command of English.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of protection systems.
Conduct relay testing, fault analysis, troubleshooting, and system modifications.
Prepare maintenance reports, test reports, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with HSE and JIGPC maintenance procedures.
