Description
A well-established construction company is seeking an experienced Projects Manager to manage and control multiple construction projects from mobilization through execution, handover, and closeout.
This is a senior role requiring both strong engineering knowledge and proven management capability. The selected candidate must ensure successful project delivery while maintaining the company’s approved administrative procedures, authority matrix, reporting structure, workflows, and management systems.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple construction projects from mobilization to final handover and closeout.
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to approved quality standards.
Lead and monitor Project Managers, Construction Managers, site teams, subcontractors, and supporting departments.
Establish project execution strategies, priorities, responsibilities, and performance targets.
Control schedules, manpower, procurement, subcontracting, cost, cash flow, risks, quality, and overall progress.
Ensure compliance with contracts, approved drawings, specifications, method statements, quality plans, and HSE requirements.
Enforce the company’s administrative orders, approval cycles, delegation of authority, document-control procedures, and internal workflows.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
Review project reports, look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, progress claims, variations, and contractual correspondence.
Identify delays, quality issues, commercial risks, and operational problems and implement timely corrective actions.
Ensure all instructions, decisions, approvals, and project records are properly documented and communicated.
Coordinate Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Commercial, Finance, QA/QC, HSE, and site operations.
Conduct regular project performance reviews and provide accurate reports to senior management.
Develop project teams, evaluate performance, enforce accountability, and maintain professional discipline.
Protect the company’s contractual, financial, operational, and reputational interests.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 25-30 years of construction experience, including projects manager responsibility.
Proven experience delivering major residential, commercial, building, or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of construction execution, planning, cost control, contracts, procurement, quality, HSE, and project closeout.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
Good understanding of corporate governance, approval processes, reporting structures, and administrative workflows.
Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Office, and project-management systems.
PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
Saudi Arabia or GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
The ideal candidate must be a disciplined projects manager as well as a competent construction professional, capable of balancing execution speed, quality, cost, contractual obligations, team performance, and administrative compliance.
