Job Description
Perform maintenance, testing, installation, overhauling and modification of HV & MV electrical equipment.
Handle 380 kV GIS substations, GCBs, MV switchgear, power cables, power transformers, dry transformers, instrument transformers, batteries and DC systems.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as per JIGPC procedures, HSE and quality standards.
Perform electrical testing using CBC100, Torkel 930, HV Tester, Megger, DLR, CB Analyzer and BDV Oil Tester.
Troubleshoot electrical faults, diagnose equipment failures and carry out necessary repairs and replacements.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, technical manuals and system diagrams.
Prepare test reports, checklists, maintenance records and spare-parts lists.
Update maintenance logbooks and report equipment conditions, defects and findings.
Ensure compliance with Electrical Safety, HSE procedures and company standards.
Work independently and support reliable and continuous plant operations.
Minimum Requirements:
Technical Certificate / Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 8 years’ experience in HV/MV electrical maintenance and testing in a plant environment.
Good knowledge of electrical power systems, circuits, drawings and safety standards.
Good English communication skills.
SAP knowledge preferred.
AJEER Mandatory.
