π **Hiring: Network Security Engineer β Riyadh, Saudi Arabia**
We are looking for an experienced **Network Security Engineer** to join a large-scale enterprise **Network Security & Infrastructure Optimization Project** in Riyadh.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in **enterprise firewall administration, network security, IP networking, troubleshooting, and infrastructure optimization**.
### Key Responsibilities
β’ Analyze, optimize and rationalize enterprise firewall security policies
β’ Review firewall rules, objects, NAT policies and security configurations
β’ Identify unused, redundant and obsolete security rules
β’ Support network security migration and optimization activities
β’ Analyze traffic/hit data and validate rules with application and infrastructure owners
β’ Participate in controlled implementation through formal Change Request (CRQ) processes
β’ Support network segmentation, IP migration and security standardization
β’ Troubleshoot complex network connectivity and security issues
β’ Prepare technical documentation, implementation plans and rollback procedures
β’ Coordinate with Network Operations, Security, Infrastructure and Application teams
### Technical Experience
Strong knowledge of **Palo Alto Networks** is highly preferred, along with experience in one or more of:
β’ Palo Alto Networks
β’ Fortinet FortiGate
β’ Cisco ASA / Firepower
β’ Check Point
β’ Juniper SRX
Good understanding of:
β’ Firewall policies and security zones
β’ NAT / PAT
β’ VPN technologies
β’ Routing & switching
β’ TCP/IP and OSI model
β’ VLANs and network segmentation
β’ Subnetting and IP addressing
β’ Public & private IP ranges
β’ IP schema and network standardization
β’ DNS and DHCP
β’ MPLS and enterprise connectivity
β’ Network troubleshooting and packet analysis
β’ Network monitoring and log analysis
Experience with tools such as **Panorama, Splunk, SolarWinds or similar enterprise monitoring/security platforms** will be an advantage.
### Candidate Profile
β’ 5+ years of enterprise network/security experience
β’ Strong hands-on firewall administration and troubleshooting experience
β’ Experience in large enterprise or data center environments
β’ Understanding of application dependencies and traffic flows
β’ Experience working under formal change-management processes
β’ Strong analytical and documentation skills
β’ Good communication and stakeholder-management abilities
β’ Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams
