Mechanical Supervisor
Experience: 10+ Years
Location: Saudi Arabia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with 10+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical construction and MEP works. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating mechanical teams and subcontractors, ensuring work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications, and maintaining quality, safety, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical works at the project site.
Manage mechanical technicians, foremen, subcontractors, and site workers.
Ensure installation works are carried out as per approved shop drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical services with civil, electrical, architectural, and other disciplines.
Review drawings and identify site issues, clashes, and discrepancies before execution.
Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for daily activities.
Ensure proper installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.
Conduct regular inspections and coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and approvals.
Monitor work progress against the project schedule and report delays or constraints to the Project Manager.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other site teams.
Ensure materials delivered to site are approved and comply with project specifications.
Prepare daily progress reports, material requirements, manpower reports, and site records.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, permit-to-work procedures, and site safety regulations.
Attend coordination and progress meetings when required.
Support snagging, testing & commissioning, and final handover activities.
Resolve day-to-day technical and execution issues efficiently to avoid delays and rework.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of relevant mechanical site experience.
Strong experience in mechanical construction and MEP services.
Proven experience supervising mechanical teams on large-scale projects.
Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and associated mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Strong coordination and site management skills.
Knowledge of QA/QC and HSE requirements.
Ability to manage multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
Previous experience in Saudi Arabia/GCC projects is preferred.
Transferable Iqama and availability to join immediately would be an advantage.
