LV Electrical & CCTV Technician

Role Description This full-time, on-site Low Voltage CCTV Technician role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The technician installs, configures, and maintains CCTV cameras, Sensors, low-voltage cabling, network video recorders (NVRs), and related security system components. Daily tasks include performing site surveys, routing and terminating cables, mounting and aligning cameras, testing system performance, and diagnosing and resolving faults. The role involves reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and technical documentation, working with electrical and low-voltage equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The technician also collaborates with project managers and clients, documents work performed, and supports periodic inspections, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Maintenance and working safely with Electrical Equipment.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Electricity and basic Electrical Engineering principles relevant to low-voltage systems.
Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving issues in CCTV and low-voltage installations.
Relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical, electronics, or low-voltage systems is preferred.
Experience installing and maintaining CCTV systems, structured cabling, and related hardware is highly beneficial.
Ability to read technical drawings, use test instruments (e.g., multimeters, cable testers), and follow safety protocols.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently and as part of a team on-site.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with IP-based CCTV systems and network configurations is an advantage.
