WE'RE HIRING – TEKLA MODELER 🚨
📍 Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
A reputed steel company based in Riyadh is seeking a Tekla Modeler to join its growing team.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop detailed 3D structural models using Tekla Structures for steel, concrete, or precast projects.
• Prepare fabrication, shop, and erection drawings from the Tekla model.
• Create assembly drawings, single-part drawings, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and material reports.
• Generate Bills of Materials (BOM), quantity take-offs, and CNC files for fabrication.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and design documents before modeling.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, detailers, project managers, and fabrication teams.
• Perform clash detection and resolve model conflicts before fabrication and construction.
• Update and revise models based on design changes and client comments.
• Ensure models comply with project standards, applicable codes, and quality requirements.
• Maintain proper model organization, naming conventions, and version control.
• Support project coordination meetings and provide technical modeling assistance.
• Deliver models and drawings within project schedules and deadlines.

Job Requirements

Education
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical certification in CAD/BIM is an advantage.

Experience
• 3-10 years of experience using Tekla Structures in structural steel, precast, or reinforced concrete projects.
• Experience preparing shop drawings and fabrication documentation.
• Familiarity with industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.

Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Tekla Structures modeling and detailing.
• Strong understanding of structural steel, reinforced concrete, or precast construction.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and engineering specifications.
• Knowledge of fabrication and erection processes.
• Experience with AutoCAD; familiarity with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or BIM coordination tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and model coordination workflows.
• Good understanding of construction codes, detailing standards, and quality requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Soft Skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and industry best practices.

Certifications (Preferred)
• Tekla Structures Professional or Certified User certification.
• BIM certification (preferred).
• AutoCAD certification (advantage).
• Relevant structural detailing or engineering certifications.

Working Conditions
• Primarily office-based, with occasional site or fabrication shop visits for coordination and verification.
• May require overtime to meet project deadlines.
• Works closely with engineering, detailing, fabrication, and construction teams to ensure accurate project delivery.
