Looking for Authorized Gas Tester

We are seeking a skilled professional to conduct atmospheric testing and monitoring in Riyadh, ensuring compliance with IMI HSE procedures for confined spaces, hot work areas, and hazardous work environments. The successful candidate will perform atmospheric testing for oxygen levels, flammable gases, and toxic gases, using IMI-approved gas detectors, and verify atmospheric conditions meet acceptable entry criteria before authorizing work activities.

Key responsibilities include:
- Performing atmospheric testing and continuous monitoring as required
- Reporting unsafe atmospheric conditions and initiating stop-work actions
- Supporting the Confined Space Entry Supervisor in verifying isolation and other preparatory steps
- Participating in toolbox talks and communicating atmospheric hazards to entrants and supervisors

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or High school certificate, with additional technical training in safety or industrial operations preferred. Mandatory certifications include Authorized Gas Tester and Confined Space Entry Training, with preferred certifications including OSHA 30, NEBOSH HSW, and Hot Work/Fire Watch Training. A strong understanding of atmospheric hazards and experience with gas detection equipment is essential.
