About the Role
We are hiring experienced commissioning professionals for a large-scale Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCGT) project. Candidates must have proven involvement in the commissioning and operation of 2,000 MW CCGT plants, or facilities of similar scale and complexity. Candidates must also have a strong track record on large-scale CCGT projects.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, lead, and execute pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs, and balance-of-plant systems
Develop and review commissioning procedures, test packs, and system completion and handover documentation
Coordinate with EPC contractors, OEMs, client representatives, and operations teams
Supervise system energization, flushing, loop checks, functional tests, performance tests, and reliability runs
Manage punch lists, defects, and system turnover to operations
Ensure compliance with HSE standards, LOTO, and PTW procedures
Prepare commissioning progress reports and as-built records
Discipline-Specific Focus
Lead / Senior Commissioning Engineer: overall commissioning strategy, scheduling, team leadership, and client/OEM interface
Mechanical: GT/ST, HRSG, pumps, compressors, piping, cooling and water systems, and BOP
Electrical: HV/MV/LV systems, generators, transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and UPS/DC systems
I&C: DCS/PLC, SCADA, instrumentation loop checks, control logic, turbine control systems, and protection and interlock testing
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline
Lead/Senior Commissioning Engineer: 10 to 15 years of power plant commissioning and operation experience
Project Engineers: relevant commissioning experience in CCGT or similar large-scale power plants
