Job Title: Laboratory Manager – Construction Materials

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee construction materials testing and ensure that all laboratory operations meet project specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily laboratory operations, staff, equipment, and testing schedules.
- Oversee testing of construction materials, including soil, aggregates, asphalt, and concrete.
- Review test results and reports for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure testing follows applicable standards and approved procedures.
- Maintain quality-control systems, laboratory records, and equipment calibration.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, consultants, and suppliers regarding testing requirements and
results.
- Investigate nonconforming results and recommend corrective actions.
- Promote safe working practices and ensure laboratory staff follow health and safety requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing a construction materials laboratory.

- Experience with soil, aggregate, asphalt, and concrete testing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and maintain accurate records.
