JOB TITLE: PROCUREMENT ENGINEER (CIVIL / MECHANICAL)
LOCATION: Saudi Arabia
PROJECT TYPE: Saudi Aramco Projects
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Engineer with a background in either Civil or Mechanical Engineering to join our team for upcoming mega-projects. The ideal candidate must possess a deep understanding of Saudi Aramco’s procurement processes, standards, and vendor requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for Civil/Mechanical materials and equipment in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards.
Review technical submittals, coordinate with engineering teams, and ensure vendor selection meets project specifications.
Negotiate contracts, manage tenders, and ensure timely delivery of materials to site.
Liaise with Saudi Aramco representatives regarding material approval and inspection requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on projects based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Certification: Must have previous Saudi Aramco Project Approval (or demonstrable experience working directly on Saudi Aramco projects).
Skills: Strong negotiation skills, knowledge of local/global suppliers, and proficiency in ERP systems.
