Job Vacancy – Façade Engineering Manager
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Industry: GRC / GFRC / UHPC / Façade Engineering
A leading company specializing in advanced building technology and façade solutions is seeking an experienced Façade Engineering Manager to lead façade engineering, structural design and multidisciplinary coordination activities for major construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead façade engineering and structural design activities from concept through fabrication and installation.
- Develop technically compliant, cost-effective and constructible façade solutions.
- Manage the design of GRC, GFRC, UHPC and other prefabricated façade systems.
- Review structural calculations, secondary steelwork, brackets, anchors, embeds and connection details.
- Oversee shop drawings, fabrication drawings and technical submissions.
- Lead BIM coordination using Revit, Tekla Structures and Navisworks.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, production teams and site teams.
- Attend technical meetings and manage responses to consultant comments.
- Conduct technical reviews, constructability assessments and clash-detection exercises.
- Resolve façade-related technical issues during production and installation.
- Monitor design schedules, engineering deliverables and departmental performance.
- Supervise and mentor engineers, BIM coordinators and draftsmen.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and quality requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including technical leadership or managerial experience.
- Strong experience in façade engineering involving GRC, GFRC, UHPC, cladding or precast façade systems.
- Experience delivering façade packages for large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel, secondary framing and connection design.
- Proficiency in Revit, Tekla Structures, Navisworks and structural analysis software.
- Familiarity with Eurocodes, British Standards and relevant American standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- GCC experience is preferred.
- Saudi Council of Engineers registration or eligibility is preferred.
- Fluency in English is required.
