We are seeking an experienced **Instrument, Testing, and Commissioning Engineer specializing in Medium Voltage (MV) Protection Systems for power distribution and substation infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and commissioning of MV electrical protection relays, switchgear instrument transformers (CTs/PTs), and control systems to ensure compliance with utility and project specifications.
---
Key Responsibilities:
1-Relay Testing & Parameterization: Perform configuration, secondary injection testing, function testing, and calibration of numerical and static protection relays (e.g., SEL, Siemens SIPROTEC, ABB Relion, Schneider MiCOM/SEPAM) for MV feeders, transformers, motors, and busbars.
2-Instrument Transformer Testing:** Conduct current transformer (CT) and voltage transformer (VT/PT) excitation, ratio, polarity, winding resistance, and insulation resistance tests.
3-MV Switchgear & Circuit Breakers:** Supervise and execute primary injection tests, contact resistance testing, timing tests, and insulation/HIPOT testing for MV switchgear units (11 kV – 33 kV).
4-Scheme Verification & Interlocking:** Verify breaker control circuits, tripping logic, auto-transfer schemes (ATS), interlocking logic, and SCADA/RTU control interfaces.
5-Commissioning & Site Acceptance:** Lead Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and functional energization tests in compliance with SEC (Saudi Electricity Company) standards and project specifications.
6-Documentation & Reporting:** Prepare detailed testing and commissioning test sheets, method statements, and red-line markup drawings for project handover.
