SABIC requires highly disciplined Hazardous Materials Tanker Drivers to transport liquid chemicals securely, operate high-pressure pumping equipment, and strictly enforce road safety protocols across Saudi Arabia.
Daily Driving Tasks:
• Operate long chemical transport tankers safely through heavy highway traffic without sudden braking to maintain total vehicle stability.
• Connect heavy industrial hoses properly to transfer corrosive acids into client storage tanks following strict technical manuals.
• Wait patiently at strict industrial security checkpoints while government officers verify the dangerous cargo permits and legal shipping documents.
• Report any sudden drops in tank pressure or minor engine issues directly to the central transport control room using the two-way radio.
Rules for Selection:
• Chemical Certification: Holding a valid Saudi dangerous goods transport certificate (Hazmat) is completely mandatory to carry industrial chemicals.
• Mental Focus: Staying completely awake and alert during long overnight drives across empty desert highways without using mobile phones.
• Background Record: Passing deep security background checks to successfully get the official industrial port entry passes for loading cargo.
