Description
We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Fulfillment Team Leader to oversee our daily warehouse order fulfillment operations. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team of associates to ensure every customer order is prepared on time, with flawless accuracy and efficiency.
You aren't just managing tasks—you are building and coaching a high-performing team, optimizing throughput, and driving our service level agreements (SLAs) to success. Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations & Order Fulfillment
On-Time Order Execution: Plan and direct daily picking, packing, and shipping workflows to ensure all orders are processed accurately and dispatched on schedule.
Quality & Accuracy: Implement and enforce rigorous quality control measures to maintain minimal error rates and return volumes.
Efficiency & Workflow Optimization: Monitor floor workflow continuously, identifying bottlenecks and reallocating labor dynamically to maintain peak productivity.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
Coaching & Mentorship: Lead, train, and develop fulfillment associates to help them reach individual performance targets and career growth goals.
Performance Tracking: Set daily KPIs, conduct regular performance check-ins, and manage efficiency metrics (units per hour, pick accuracy, handling times).
Culture & Accountability: Foster a positive, safe, and accountable team environment grounded in teamwork and continuous improvement.
SLA & Metrics Management
SLA Compliance: Drive daily floor execution to consistently meet or exceed internal and external Service Level Agreements (same-day fulfillment, cut-off deadlines).
Data-Driven Monitoring: Track and analyze daily operational logs and efficiency reports to make proactive adjustments.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with inventory, customer support, and logistics teams to quickly resolve inventory discrepancies or shipping issues.
Safety & Process Compliance
Enforce all warehouse safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Maintain a clean, organized, and ergonomic working environment (5S principles).
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 2–4+ years of experience in warehouse fulfillment, e-commerce operations, or logistics, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Proven Leadership: Strong track record of motivating teams, resolving operational friction, and managing workforce performance effectively.
SLA Focus: Demonstrated experience operating in fast-paced environments with strict time-to-ship and quality SLAs.
Systems Familiarity: Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory tracking software, and barcode scanning tools.
Problem-Solving Ability: Quick decision-making skills with a knack for real-time trouble-shooting under deadline pressure.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to []e.g., 50 lbs] as needed on the warehouse floor.
