Job Title:- Fire Protection Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Engineer & Mechanical Engineer)
Department:- Fire & Safety / Maintenance
Employment Type:- Full-Time

Location:- Saudi Arabia

Job Summary:-

We are looking for an experienced Fire Protection Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Engineer & Mechanical Engineer) to oversee the inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of fire protection and fire alarm systems. The candidate should have hands-on experience with fire alarm, firefighting, fire suppression, and related safety systems.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of fire alarm and fire protection systems.
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm control panels, detectors, modules, sounders, MCPs, interfaces, and notification devices.
- Work with fire alarm systems such as Notifier and other major brands.
- Maintain and troubleshoot firefighting systems, including fire pumps, jockey pumps, hydrants, hose reels, sprinkler systems, valves, and fire water systems.
- Carry out inspection and maintenance of FM-200, NOVEC, CO₂, clean agent, and other fire suppression systems where applicable.
- Perform testing of pressure switches, flow switches, supervisory switches, releasing devices, solenoid valves, actuators, and control modules.
- Review and understand fire alarm and firefighting system wiring diagrams, schematics, and shop drawings.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance and prepare inspection/testing reports.
- Identify system faults and provide effective troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams during testing and maintenance activities.
- Ensure systems are maintained in accordance with applicable NFPA standards, Civil Defense requirements, manufacturer recommendations, and project specifications.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, test results, equipment status, and spare parts.
Supervise technicians and maintenance teams and ensure work is completed safely and correctly.
- Attend emergency breakdowns and system faults when required.
Support testing, commissioning, and handover of fire protection systems.

Required Qualifications:-

- Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in fire protection and fire alarm maintenance.
Strong knowledge of fire alarm, firefighting, and fire suppression systems.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system schematics.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and Saudi Civil Defense requirements is preferred.
- Ability to supervise technicians and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Good communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills:-

- Experience with Notifier fire alarm systems is an advantage.
- Experience with fire suppression releasing systems and control modules.
- Knowledge of fire pump testing and firefighting system maintenance.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and inspection checklists.
- Valid Saudi driving license is an advantage.
