Estimator
Prepares realistic, accurate and competitive estimates for quotations and tenders, from the first study of enquiry documents through to bid submission.
Responsibilities:
Study tender documents, ITT/RFP and drawings; do take-offs and prepare BOQs to international standards.
Prepare RFIs and submit them before the cut-off deadline.
Obtain quotations, negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, and prepare trade comparisons and cost breakdowns.
Prepare commercial and technical proposals, clarifications, qualifications and exclusions on time for manager review.
Hand over to the QS and project teams, and expand the vendor base for competitive pricing.
Requirements: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil or a Quantity Surveying degree; 5+ years in the fit-out industry with GCC experience; knowledge of the full tender process, value engineering and trade comparisons; strong MS Office skills; good time management, teamwork and business English.
