looking for Pre Sales ELV Engineer
Review project RFPs, RFQs, ITTs, specifications, drawings, and BOQs to understand technical and commercial requirements.
* Prepare technical proposals, compliance statements, method statements, and equipment/material submittals.
* Design and propose ELV solutions for CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, ICT, Wi-Fi, Intercom, Public Address, SMATV, AV, and other low-current systems.
* Prepare BOQs, BOMs, cost estimates, and commercial proposals based on project requirements.
* Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications.
* Select suitable products, systems, and manufacturers according to project specifications and client requirements.
* Prepare system architecture, block diagrams, schematic drawings, and technical layouts.
* Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain technical datasheets, quotations, compliance documents, and lead times.
* Conduct technical discussions and presentations with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
* Analyze client requirements and recommend cost-effective and technically compliant solutions.
* Ensure proposals comply with applicable international standards, local regulations, and project specifications.
* Attend site surveys and technical meetings to identify project requirements and installation constraints.
* Prepare technical clarifications, RFIs, deviations, and value-engineering proposals.
* Support the sales team during tendering, negotiation, clarification, and finalization stages.
* Compare vendor quotations and prepare technical/commercial comparison sheets.
* Coordinate with design, procurement, project, and installation teams during project handover from pre-sales to execution.
* Maintain knowledge of current ELV technologies, products, manufacturers, and market trends.
* Support project teams with technical solutions and troubleshooting during implementation when required.
