Location: Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia

MegaPower is a Saudi-based electrical engineering solutions company specializing in electrical engineering, system integration, power distribution, protection systems, power quality, condition monitoring, and industrial electrical solutions.
As part of our expansion into electrical panel manufacturing and assembly, we are seeking a technically strong and motivated Electrical Panel Design Engineer / Panel Builder to join our team.
Role Description
The role involves electrical panel engineering, design, technical documentation, and panel assembly. The successful candidate will support the complete panel-building process, from reviewing project requirements and preparing electrical designs to assembly, testing, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop LV/MV electrical panels, switchboards, MCCs, and control panels.
- Prepare electrical schematics, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
- Develop GA drawings, BOMs, cable schedules, and terminal schedules.
- Review project specifications, client requirements, and applicable IEC standards.
- Select electrical components, including breakers, contactors, relays, meters, and protection devices.
- Prepare technical submittals, material approvals, and manufacturing documentation.
- Support panel assembly, wiring, installation, and quality inspections.
- Conduct panel testing, including continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing.
- Coordinate with suppliers, clients, consultants, and engineering teams.
- Support troubleshooting, commissioning, and technical modifications.
- Ensure compliance with approved designs, safety requirements, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong background in electrical engineering, panel design, and power distribution systems.
- Practical experience in electrical panel building, assembly, wiring, or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical design software.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of LV/MV switchgear, MCCs, control panels, and protection systems.
- Familiarity with IEC standards and electrical testing procedures.
- Experience preparing BOMs, GA drawings, and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills.
- Experience with panel testing and commissioning is an advantage.
- Saudi driving license is preferred.
