• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in database administration for enterprise-critical environments.
• Strong hands-on experience administering Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c/21c) and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and database replication technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, Clustering, and Replication.
• Strong knowledge of database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migrations.
• Experience with database performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, SQL Server Backup, and recovery tools.
• Experience implementing database security, encryption, auditing, and access controls.
• Experience supporting databases in virtualized and cloud environments (Azure/AWS/OCI).
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and database automation scripting.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and other database monitoring platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience supporting critical production environments is preferred.
• Banking/financial services experience is an advantage.
