Job Opening: Coating Inspector (BGAS 2 or NACE 2)
We are currently looking for an experienced Coating Inspector to join our team.
Requirements:
Valid BGAS 2 or NACE 2 certification (mandatory)
Strong knowledge of surface preparation, protective coatings, and painting inspection for structural steel, piping, tanks, and pressure vessels.
Experience in coating inspection, painting quality control, and final acceptance inspections.
Ability to interpret coating specifications, drawings, and applicable standards (AMPP/NACE, SSPC, ISO, ASTM).
Good communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
Responsibilities:
Perform inspection activities during fabrication and assembly
Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality requirements
Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation
Coordinate with fabrication and QA/QC teams to resolve inspection issues
