CNC Fiber Laser Cutting Operator / Programmer

Key Responsibilities
• Operate and set up ADH CNC Fiber Laser Cutting Machines.
• Prepare and run CNC laser cutting programs.
• Read and understand 2D engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Understand dimensions, tolerances, material thicknesses, and part requirements.
• Prepare and check DXF/DWG files for laser cutting.
• Perform nesting and optimize sheet utilization to minimize material waste.
• Set and adjust appropriate cutting parameters according to material type and thickness.
• Adjust laser parameters such as cutting speed, laser power, gas pressure, focus, and other relevant parameters.
• Operate both low-power and high-power fiber laser cutting machines.
• Perform first-piece inspection and verify finished parts according to drawings.
• Identify and correct common laser cutting problems such as dross, incomplete cutting, excessive kerf, and poor edge quality.
• Monitor machine performance and maintain consistent cutting quality.
• Perform basic machine cleaning and routine operator checks.
• Troubleshoot common machine and cutting issues.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality departments.
• Follow all safety procedures and production instructions.
Software Requirements
The candidate should have practical experience with CNC fiber laser cutting software.
Required / Preferred Software Experience:
• CypCut – required/preferred for the 3 kW machine.
• HypCut – required/preferred for the 12 kW high-power machine.
• Experience handling DXF/DWG files.
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability to prepare, modify, check, and optimize cutting programs.
Technical Requirements
• Strong practical knowledge of CNC Fiber Laser Cutting Machines.
• Good understanding of sheet-metal fabrication.
• Good knowledge of different sheet materials and thicknesses.
• Ability to select and adjust cutting parameters.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of nesting and material optimization.
• Basic CNC machine troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as vernier calipers and measuring tapes.
• Ability to inspect finished parts and compare dimensions with engineering drawings.
Experience
• Minimum 2–3 years of practical experience operating CNC Fiber Laser Cutting Machines.
• Experience with CypCut and/or HypCut is preferred.
• Experience with high-power fiber laser machines (10 kW+) is a strong advantage.
• Experience with ADH laser cutting machines is an advantage.
• Experience in sheet-metal fabrication and manufacturing is preferred.
Education
• Technical diploma, vocational training, or equivalent practical experience.
• Technical education in CNC, mechanical manufacturing, sheet-metal fabrication, or a related field is preferred.
Candidate Requirements
• Must be currently residing in Saudi Arabia.
• Must be available for immediate or short-notice joining.
• Transferable Iqama is preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and follow production schedules.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing/factory environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to production quality.
