Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform fusion and mechanical fiber splicing
* Conduct OTDR, power meter, and light source testing
* Prepare and terminate single-mode & multi-mode fiber cables
* Maintain splicing and testing documentation
* Ensure compliance with Aramco standards and safety procedures
* Interpret fiber layouts, splicing plans, and work orders
* Coordinate with engineers and technicians to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
* Valid Aramco Fiber Optic Splicing Certification
* 3+ years’ experience in fiber splicing (KSA preferred)
* Proficient in OTDR, power meter, and fusion splicing tools
* Strong knowledge of fiber standards, color codes, and troubleshooting
* Ability to read SLDs and cable routing drawings
* Willing to travel to remote/on-site locations
Preferred:
* Diploma/ITI in Telecommunications/Electronics
* Knowledge of ELV and structured cabling systems
