Accountant – Payroll, VAT & Cost Analysis

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage payroll accounting, VAT compliance, cost analysis, and general accounting functions within a transportation and contracting company.
Key Responsibilities

* Prepare payroll accounting entries and reconciliations.
* Manage employee advances and expense claims.
* Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with ZATCA regulations.
* Analyze operational costs and prepare management reports.
* Monitor project, fleet, and operating costs.
* Prepare journal entries and support month-end closing.
* Assist with budgeting and financial reporting.
* Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
* Support internal and external audits.
* Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
* Experience in cost analysis and VAT compliance.
* Experience in transportation or contracting companies.
* Strong analytical and Excel skills.
* Experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
* Saudi Arabia experience is highly preferred.
