6G Welder

6G Welder - as the high skill pipe welder certified to weld fixed pipes set a 45 - degree angle without rotating the pipe. The position requires the Welder to work through flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead angles all in single. Exp. 3- 5 years in same field. The 6G welder will be responsible for welding together metal components of various structures . pipelines, and equipment according to specific welding codes such as SMAW , GTAW and MIC in the 6G position at a 45degree angle
Responsibilities:-
* Perform weldin in carbon steel, stainless steel , and alloy pipes in the ^G position using approved welding procedures.
* Interpret blueprints, isometeric drwaings and welding symbois to determine the layout and specifications of weld joints.
* Prepare materials by cleaning , beveling and aligning pipes before welding.
* Set up and operate welding equipment selecting approprate ehectrodes, filer materials and setting for each job.
* Inspect welds visually and with gauges to ensure compilance with standard and specifications.
* Conduct repaire welding as required ensuring proper joint penetration and weld quality.
* Perform weld tests and prepare joint for the inspection including radographic or ultrasonic testing.
* Coordinate with supervisor, fitters and quality control inspector to ensure welding is completed accurately.

Requirements:-
Minimum education - Technical certificate or Diploma in Welding or related field
