Description
Permit Management: Obtain, review, and fully understand work permits (Hot Work, Cold Work, Confined Space, etc.) before any activity commences.
Site Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-job site inspections to identify potential hazards and verify that required safety controls (barricades, LOTO, fire protection) are in place.
Crew Supervision: Conduct daily toolbox talks to communicate permit conditions, hazards, and safety rules to the entire work crew.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all workers utilize correct PPE and adhere to isolation and LOTO procedures throughout the work duration.
Operational Monitoring: Continuously monitor work activities and be empowered to immediately stop work if safety protocols are violated or conditions become unsafe.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records and ensure proper closure of permits upon job completion, including site restoration.
