Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Experience: Minimum 2 Years
Novelty Logistics is seeking a skilled and proactive Road Freight Executive to support and coordinate road transportation operations across Saudi Arabia and GCC countries. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in transportation coordination, vendor management, and cross-border freight operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Road Freight Manager in managing daily transportation operations.
- Coordinate with local transport vendors, subcontractors, and fleet operators.
- Arrange and monitor domestic and cross-border shipments across Saudi Arabia and GCC countries.
- Source transportation vendors, obtain quotations, negotiate rates, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Coordinate vehicle allocation, shipment dispatch, delivery tracking, and POD collection.
- Ensure proper transportation documentation and compliance with applicable cross-border procedures.
- Monitor shipment progress, resolve operational challenges, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain vendor databases, rate sheets, operational reports, and shipment records.
- Coordinate with customers and internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in road freight, transportation, or logistics operations.
- Practical knowledge of Saudi Arabia's local transportation market and vendor network.
- Understanding of GCC cross-border transportation procedures and documentation.
- Strong coordination, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and transportation management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
