Description
Al Moallam Group is looking for T & I Planner who are locally available and can join immediately. The candidates should have the following:
1. Job Summary
The T&I Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring Testing and Inspection (T&I) activities to ensure all inspections, testing procedures, manpower, equipment, and resources are arranged and executed according to the project schedule, technical specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
2. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed T&I plans, schedules, and inspection and testing timelines in line with project requirements.
Coordinate with project teams, QA/QC, construction, maintenance, operations, and client representatives to ensure timely execution of T&I activities.
Prepare and update daily, weekly, and monthly T&I schedules and progress reports.
Monitor planned versus actual progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions to maintain project milestones.
Coordinate inspection requests, testing procedures, method statements, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) with relevant departments.
Ensure the availability of manpower, tools, equipment, test instruments, and materials required for scheduled activities.
Track inspection and testing activities, including outstanding inspections, punch-list items, and pending approvals.
Maintain accurate records of inspection results, testing reports, checklists, and other project documentation.
Identify scheduling conflicts and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to minimize disruptions to project activities.
Ensure all T&I activities comply with approved procedures, project specifications, safety regulations, and client standards.
Participate in planning meetings and provide regular updates on progress, constraints, and anticipated resource requirements.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and third-party inspection agencies as required.
Support project closeout by ensuring completion of outstanding inspections, test records, and handover documentation.
3. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline.
Relevant training or certification in project planning, scheduling, or quality management is an advantage.
4. Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in T&I planning, project planning, inspection coordination, or a similar role.
Experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, industrial, or construction projects is preferred.
Familiarity with client-specific inspection requirements and quality documentation is an advantage.
5. Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other planning and reporting tools.
Knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project is preferred.
Understanding of inspection schedules, testing procedures, ITPs, and project documentation.
Strong coordination, analytical, reporting, and time-management skills.
Ability to monitor progress, identify schedule deviations, and prepare planning reports.
