Description

Al Moallam Company (CJSC) is looking for a full-time experienced Safety Coordinators who are locally available and can immediately join. Candidates should have the following:

Job Purpose:

To coordinate and monitor health, safety, and environmental activities at the project/site, ensuring compliance with company policies, applicable Saudi regulations, client requirements, and approved HSE procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

*Coordinate and implement site HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs.
*Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and potential hazards.
*Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and properly closed.
*Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness sessions for employees and subcontractors.
*Monitor compliance with PPE requirements and safe working practices.
*Assist in preparing and maintaining HSE plans, risk assessments, method statements, and inspection checklists.
*Participate in incident, accident, near-miss, and unsafe-condition investigations and prepare reports.
*Monitor permit-to-work activities and ensure required safety controls are in place.
*Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response procedures.
*Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, training records, incident statistics, and other required documentation.
*Coordinate with project management, supervisors, subcontractors, and workers regarding safety matters.
*Ensure safety signs, barricades, emergency equipment, fire extinguishers, and first-aid facilities are properly maintained.
*Conduct safety inductions for newly joined employees, visitors, and subcontractor personnel.
*Report safety violations and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
*Support internal and external HSE audits and client inspections.
*Promote a positive safety culture and continuously improve site safety performance.
*Perform any other HSE-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent HSE certification is preferred.
Relevant Saudi HSE certifications or client-specific certifications will be an advantage.
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HSE/Safety experience, preferably in construction, infrastructure, industrial, or similar projects.
Experience working in GCC/Saudi Arabia and knowledge of client HSE requirements is preferred.
