Description
Position: Swimming Pool Operator / Maintenance Technician
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Salary: SAR 1,600 – 2,000 per month (based on experience)
Location: Jeddah, KSA
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Pool Operator to manage the daily operation, cleaning, and chemical treatment of our swimming pool, ensuring it remains safe, clean, and fully functional at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, circulation systems)
Test water quality daily (pH, chlorine, alkalinity) and adjust as needed
Add and handle pool chemicals safely (chlorine, algaecide, pH balancers)
Clean pool surfaces, tiles, decks, and surrounding areas
Skim debris, vacuum the pool floor, and backwash filters regularly
Maintain accurate water-quality and maintenance logs
Follow pool safety standards and hygiene protocols
Store and handle chemicals according to safety guidelines
Report equipment issues or repairs needed to management
Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a pool operator/technician
Working knowledge of pool water chemistry and safety procedures
Comfortable working outdoors and doing physical tasks
Basic understanding of pool equipment/mechanics
Pool operator certification (CPO or equivalent) is an advantage
Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently
