# Senior Estimation Engineer – Architectural
**Location:** Saudi Arabia
**Experience:** 5–7 Years
**Employment Type:** Full-Time
### Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced **Senior Estimation Engineer – Architectural** to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in architectural estimation, quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, tender pricing, and cost analysis for construction and development projects.
### Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate and detailed **cost estimates and BOQs** for architectural works.
* Review architectural drawings, specifications, tender documents, and project requirements.
* Perform detailed quantity take-offs for architectural materials and finishes.
* Prepare competitive pricing for tenders and commercial proposals.
* Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
* Analyze material, labor, subcontractor, and project costs.
* Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Contracts, and Project Management teams.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and support value engineering initiatives.
* Review tender addenda, clarifications, and scope changes and assess their cost impact.
* Maintain and update cost databases, supplier rates, and market prices.
* Assist in preparing tender submissions and commercial comparisons.
* Ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with project specifications.
### Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in **Architecture, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field**.
* **5–7 years of relevant experience** in architectural estimation and tendering.
* Strong experience in **quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and tender pricing**.
* Excellent knowledge of architectural materials, finishes, and construction methods.
* Strong understanding of local construction market rates and supplier pricing.
* Proficiency in **AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel**.
* Experience with estimation and costing software is an advantage.
* Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
* **Saudi Arabia / GCC experience is preferred.**
* Good command of written and spoken **English**.
Preferred Skills
* Experience with major construction and development projects.
* Strong knowledge of architectural specifications and drawings.
* Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet strict deadlines.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations.
