Description
Job Description:
* Implement and monitor occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
* Conducting audits, inspections, gap analysis etc. and investigating incidents & accidents etc.
* Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and employee training sessions
* Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards (e.g., ISO 45001, OSHA, and applicable local requirements).
* Monitor and support emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, and response planning and maintaining safety reports & records.
* Coordinating with clients, third parties and legal authorities to ensure the compliance with local laws and international standards.
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field.
Experience
• 2–5 years of experience in occupational health and safety.
• Experience in industrial, construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, or corporate environments is preferred.
• Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
Certifications (Preferred)
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification
• ISO 45001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor
• First Aid/CPR Certification
• Fire Safety Training
• Any relevant HSE certifications are considered an advantage.
Preferred Competencies
• Strong understanding of local occupational health and safety regulations.
• Experience with HSE management systems and compliance reporting.
• Ability to conduct internal safety audits.
• Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety best practices.
• Experience developing safety KPIs and performance reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
