Description
We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial refrigeration systems from fault diagnosis through final testing and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults.
2. Detect and repair refrigerant leaks using proper testing methods.
3. Perform copper pipe cutting, bending, brazing, and fitting replacement.
4. Repair or replace compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, and fan motors.
5. Test and replace thermostats, sensors, pressure switches, relays, contactors, and capacitors.
6. Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, vacuuming, and charging.
7. Test and commission equipment after repair to confirm correct operation.
8. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
9. Respond to emergency breakdowns to minimize equipment downtime.
10. Maintain service reports, refrigerant records, and follow all required safety procedures.
Requirements
• Diploma or technical certificate in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on refrigeration experience.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use refrigeration gauges and multimeters.
• Good knowledge of brazing, leak detection, refrigerant charging, and component replacement.
